Sanofi India is paying some money (called “dividend”) to its shareholders who own a certain type of its shares (which have a face value of Rs 10). This dividend is Rs 194 per share. This means if you buy the shares now, you can get the dividend by 28th April. The company will only give the dividend to shareholders who owned the shares before April 28th (called “record date”).
